Is it possible to dye plastics that deform at high temperatures at low temperatures?
There is a processing method that makes it possible to dye plastics that could only be dyed at high temperatures at low temperatures (60 °C). By dyeing at low temperatures, materials that deform at high temperatures can also be dyed. The size limitation of the plastic to be dyed is limited by the size of the tank where the dyeing process is undertaken, which is 300 mm2. Larger items can be dyed only by use of a larger tank. link:http://www.orion.co.jp/corp/feature/plastics/tincture.html
